Dermal fillers are a remedy for the signs of volume loss in our faces as we age – deep lines, deep wrinkles, sunken cheeks, hollow eyes, thin lips and jowls. A high quality, consistent skincare routine works wonders in rejuvenating one’s face, but this does not address the depleted volume beneath. Dermal filler treatments are a quick & painless way of restoring your youthful facial appearance and glow.

Dermal fillers are made from organic substances found naturally in the skin (polysaccharides). The beauty about this fact is that they are instantly reversible if desired.

Dermal Filler treatments are virtually painless office-based procedures and can be used in various areas of the face.

▪ Lip fillers
▪ Nasolabial folds
▪ Cheek fillers
▪ Chin fillers
▪ Facial contouring
▪ Non-surgical Rhinoplasty

▪ Avoid substances known to increase bruising (St. John’s Wort, High-dose Vitamin E, Omega 3, Aspirin/Ibuprofen, Alcohol).
▪ Avoid applying make-up to the area receiving the treatment, however, mineral-based make-up is fine to use.
▪ Clients prone getting cold sores should take prescription Zovirax tablets for a few days before and after the treatment.

Dermal filler treatments yield visual results almost instantly. The plush, natural looking volume is initially accompanied by mild swelling. This settles over a few weeks to showcase the final desired result.

Dermal fillers generally last for 6-12 months depending on the volume used and how fast your natural metabolism dispenses of the filler.

Dermal fillers are very safe when administered by a certified, experienced aesthetic doctor. Uncommon risks include:

Bruising/Swelling/Redness
Allergic reaction
Infection
Blood vessel occlusion

The volumising, youthful effects of Dermal fillers treatments are almost instantaneous, but it may take a few weeks for them to completely settle in. Minimal bruising & swelling are fairly common early on, but these subside fairly quickly to reveal the final desired result. Most clientele find they need 2 to 3 meticulous sessions to achieve the perfect layered foundation.
